Tigger, 45”x60” This quilt featuring
one of the popular Winnie the Pooh characters was made at the request
of my daughter, Janet, as a gift for a friend’s new baby. With
no pattern available, I used a child’s coloring book as inspiration
and embellished on that. |
 |
Sleeping Teddy, 45”x60” This is
a Gingham Goose pattern and was made as a gift for a baby girl in
Shreveport, LA. |
 |
Norman, 45”x60” The inspiration
for this piece was a pattern New Herd Addition by Mary Ellen McGowan
of Drummond, MT, and was embellished from that small wall hanging.
Mary Ellen is a rancher/quilt shop owner. |

Grandpa’s Pony Farm, 45”x60”
Another Gingham Goose pattern, this was a popular gift quilt for new
grandchildren for many years. |
 |
Winnie the Pooh, 45”x60” Another
‘gift request’ from daughter Janet. Again, there was no
pattern available and I used a t-shirt as inspiration and embellished
from there. |
 |
Hunny Bunny, 45”x60” This Gingham
Goose pattern was the most popular crib quilt that I made for the
past 20+ years. The Gingham Goose patterns lent themselves well to
use faux furs for a ‘tactile’ experience for the young
ones |
